REDUCTION ISSUE
(Received Last Night, 8.55 o'clock.)
SYDNEY, Maj 29
The Full Court has given its reserved decision in tho local option test appeal case. At the 1907 election the Leichhardt electors had voted for reduction, but at the last' election reversed that decision, and voted for continuance. The point of issue is whether the last vote nullified the previous vote, and gave the hotels voted out in 1907 the right to keep open. The case is a test one. Altogether 172 hotels are affected, represnting property valued at nearly £IOO.OOO. The Full Court unanimously J '~und that the reversed vote of 1910 did not rehabilitate the licenses cancelled- by tho 1907 vote.
