WOOLCOMBERS' DEMAND.
REFUSED BY EMPLOYERS. (Received Last Night, 10.30 o'clock.) LONDON, May 29. The Bradford woolcc-mbers have made a demand for a. general advance of 5 per cent, in wages, with a minimum of 25s a week few night worker's. The employers reply t<ha.t three advances have been given in four years, and tiheair patience is exhausted. The trade disturbances were d\ie to the persistent and often frivolous applications of the operatives. The masters are determined to take drastic measures to oppose any further demands.
