EMPIRE DAY REVIEW.
(Received May 29, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, May 28. Lord Roberts reviewed ten thousand boys and girls at the Empire League's parade in Hyde Park. Those present included the Duke of Fife and his daughters, and the Lord Mayor and other metropolitan Mayors. The final grouping of flags symbolised Britannia and her children in the face of danger, with busies sounding the alarm and the flags formed in a square'about the Union Jack.
