Institute lias adopted .a .remit, for the annual Conference,'' recommending that the annual meeting be held alternately in Wellington and Christchurch, on tlh© ground that the expense to delegates by .meeting in the cities at the ends of the country would he too heavy.' The difference in fares works out as follows:—Auckland £193, Wellington £ll6, Dunedin £173, Ofaristdrarcfh £l2B.
