MR REDMOND CAUSES A SENSATION.
REPUDIATES A COMMITTEE
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, May 27. A sensation has been caused in Dublin by the publication of a letter from Mr W. Redmond, Leader of the Irish Nationalist Party, in which he disassociates himself before-hand with the findings of the Committee (consisting of the Bishop of Ross, Lord Pirrie, and others) which was set up last month to consider the financial relations of Ireland and Britain. Mr Redmond states that he stands on the report of the Childless Commission. He declares that he reserves absolute liberty of action to his party, and states that critical and trying times are before them.
