CELEB-RATION IN MASTERTON.

Over two hundred men attended tihe spNal-service in St. MajWihew's Church, Masterton, yesterday afternoon, in' GomimmioTatiojpjof "Empire Davy," Aanongst those present were a large muster of Territorials, in uniform, together with tlhie representatives of jnarious Lodges, and Societies. The Rev. H. 'Watson preached an aMe patriotic sermon (reported elsewihere), and special sacr jd music w&s played by tlie Masterton Battalion Band. At the conclusion of the service, .the wfhole congregation; joined (heartily in the singing of ,th© "National Anthem." The C.E.M.S. shwuld be highly gratified at the response to their invitation (to the different sections of, the community to attend tShe service.
