SETTLEMENT IN SIGHT.
MEETING OF DELEGATES

LONDON, May 23
The minority of the Council of tho ■South Wales Miners' Federation declined to recommend the Cambrian miners to accept the agreement that the terms for a settlement be submitted to the respective parties. Delegates from all parts of the coalfield will meet to consider the agreement on Saturday. If rejected contrary to the wishes of the Miners' Federation of Great Britain, the latter will withold its weekly contribution of £3OOO to the strike funds.
