Charles Blane's report to the Council of State recommends that Bar-Sur-Aube and Bar-Sur-Seine be reincluded in the Champagne area, thus enabling them to designate their products "Champagne."' On the other hand, with a view to satisfying the Champagne region, as recently delimited, he recommends that the principal Marne vintages be described as the products of "Grande Champagne," and that the wines of the whole enlarged area be used without restriction for the purposes of admixture.
