New Zealand lambs.—Canterbury light 4|d, medium 4gd, heavy 4sd; Southland, 4 5-16 d; North Island, 4 3-16 d, selected brands, 4 5-16 d. . Beef .—Fores 2|d; hinds, 3fd. Australian sheep.—Light 2fd, heavy 2£d, ewes 2|d. Lambs. —Best brands 3|d, fair quality. 3§d, inferior quality 3Jd. Beef.—Fores 2jd, ■HLadB 3sd. South American sheep. —Light, 3Jd, heavy 2|d, ewes Lambs. —Firit quality 3Jd, second quality 3|. Beef —Frozen fores 2gd. hindo 3§d; chilled fores 2% d, liinds 3Jd. Australian chilled iamb, 3Jd to 3|d. The market is bad owing to an over supply of Argentine, including a bad-ly-damaged shipment.
