1 HELPLESS CRIPPLE Dne of the Worst Cases on Record. A. Nurse in Attendance Night and Day. Wheeled About in an Invalid's Chair—Expected to be a Cripple for Life—This Woman Cured by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills.

A worse case of rheumatism can hardly be imagined than was endured by Mrs Charles F. Carter. For some months she was a complete cripple, a nurse in attendance night and day, and the only outing she had was when she was wheeled about in an invalid's chair. Her right leg was drawn up so that it could not be straigntened. I had the knee in screw splints, and I slept with a pillow under it. Friends used to call and fairly give way when they found how altered I was and what pain I was suffering night and day. My husband was dreadfully worried. They wanted me to go to the hospital and have the leg put in irons, I was wheeled down, and they said it was a case for the surgeon, so I told them to wheel me back

home, and I would dio there. I had four different doctors, but they had practically to give the ease up. I had been suffering for eight months when I read of Dr. Williams' Pfink Pills.
