EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale at Eketahuna on Friday last, to a large attendance of buyers. Owing to the rough state of the weather, sheep as advertised did not come forward. However, we had a fair yarding of sheep and two pons of cattle. We made a total clearance, with the exception of one pen of sheep. Quotations : —2-tooth ewes, Us 6d to 12s; 2-tooth wethers, lis to lis 6d; s.m. ewes. 6s 6d to 7s 8d; woollv lambs, 6s 6d, 7s, 7s Gd to 8s; cull lambs, 3s lOd; dairy heifers. £4 10s to £5; weaner calves, £1 8s; bulls, £2 10s to £3 10s.
