It is about tinue that a question was asked in Parliament concerning ,the High Commissioner's office. The ' cost to the Dominion of this remarkable institution is anything between £IO,OOO and £20,000 per year.> What is New Zealand receiving in return? »The weekly ©able of market prices is hardly worth the money. During the last few weeks it has 'been found necessary to send Home ispecial men to look after the interests of the meat and dairy industries. This work should have been done effectively by the High ■Oonnmissioner and his sstaff. But mo; the Office at Home appears to have nothing (better to do than play with its fingers.
