ISLINGTON, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS the land mentioned in the schedule hereto is required! to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Weraiti Road in Block XI, Otahoua Survey District: And whereas .the Masterton County Council has laid before the Governor a ''memorial, accompanied by a map, amd also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Diekson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in -pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me bv the Counties Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling'me in this hehialf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned) in the iSdhe-dule hereto is taken for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the said road; and I do also'hereby declare that this- Proclamation shall take effect on and after, the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
