Commenting on Lady Medallist's form at Randwiek, "Pilot," in the Sydney Referee, sayis : ' 'Lady Medallist ran so well in the Autumn Stakes that she was naturally expected to give a good account of herself in the All-Aged Stakes, hut she shaped indifferently in that, and even wonse in the Final Handicap, for which she was also .solidJy backed. She did a good deal of racing this season prior to leaving New Zealand, and presumably that is telling upon her."
