TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Meteorological Office this evenzing issued the following summary and forecast :~ Showery conditions have prevailed southward of .East Cape in the North Island, but fair weather has prevailed generally. Moderate to strong southeasterly winds have predominated, and the barometer has continued high, especially in the South Island. Present indications are for moderate south-westerly winds veering to easterly northwards, of Hokitika and Kaikoura, arid northerly and westerly breeze- 0 >lse where.- Fair weather is probable generally. There is little movement of the barometer at present, but it will fall slowly everywhere after about sixteen hours.
