Mr W. F. Massey, Leader of the Opposition, will deliver an address at Oamaru on the 26th inst.
A London cable, received last night, stated that Oxford University intended conferring the degree of Doctor of Laws upon Sir Joseph Ward. Mr E. C. Isaac, Inspector under the Manual and Technical Instruction Act, who ■:W r> spending 'ome days in Masterton, returns to Wellington tomorrow.
