WAITAKI BOYS' SCHOOL
PRESENTED WITH A SHIELD. (Received Last Night, 11 o'clock.) LONDON, May 16. At a meeting of the British and Foreign Sailors' Society, Lord Strath cona presented Sir Joseph Ward with' a shield made of copper from the vessels "Victory" and, "Fourdroyant," for the Waitaki Boys' School, in recognition of th'e boys' efforts to help the Society.
