WEDDING BELLS.
TAILFOKIH—DAGG. At the residenco of the bride's father yesterday, Miss. Violet Dagg, second daughter of Mr J. G. Dagg, of Kaituna, was married to Mr Robert To.vlfort.il. Miss "Daisy Dagg was bridesmaid, and Mr F. Clancey was best man. A reception was held, when the relatives and a few friends of the contracting parties were entertained. Mr and Mrs Taylforth left Masterton by the afternoon train for. Napier, where the honeymoon is to be spent. BURCH—EVANS. An exceedingly pretty wedding was celebrated at the residence of the bride's parents, TJr>per Plain yesterday, when Mr Edgar Burch, late, of Grey town, and Miss Kathleen Evans, eldest daughter of Mr T -T. Evans, of Upper "Pinin. were npi+»d in the bonds of'matrimony* Miss C. M. Evans attended her sister as bridesmaid, and Mr C. H. Evans was best man. A reception was held" later, at which the usual toasts were duly honoured,, and congratulatory speeches made. The happy couple left by tho afternoon train for Wellington, en route for Nelson, where they will spend their honeymoon. HAMILTON—ELGAR. Captain Hamilton /formerly A.D.C., to Lord Islington, was married at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral in Wellington yesterday afternoon to Miss Enid Elgar, daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Elgar, of Featherston. Captain Hamilton is the only son of Lord Claude Hamilton, and is a. nephew of the Duke of Abercorn.
