An exceedingly pretty wedding was celebrated at the residence of the bride's parents, TJr>per Plain yesterday, when Mr Edgar Burch, late, of Grey town, and Miss Kathleen Evans, eldest daughter of Mr T -T. Evans, of Upper "Pinin. were npi+»d in the bonds of'matrimony* Miss C. M. Evans attended her sister as bridesmaid, and Mr C. H. Evans was best man. Captain Hamilton /formerly A.D.C., to Lord Islington, was married at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral in Wellington yesterday afternoon to Miss Enid Elgar, daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Elgar, of Featherston. Captain Hamilton is the only son of Lord Claude Hamilton, and is a. nephew of the Duke of Abercorn.
