THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The Foresters' Hall was again well filled Iflst evening, to witness the excellent programme new being presented there by Messrs Thompson and Payne. The dramatic section contains a variety of pictures wlhich cannot fail to, please. Many sensational episodes .are witnessed, strong veins of pathos and. comedy running through, while realism is vividly illustrated in one and all. The comedy side is more than well represented, several aide-splitting situations of a novel character being .shmvn. Tonights wall be the last occasion on •which, the current masterpieces of the Edmon, Vita graph, American Bio, Pauie Freree, 'and Kalem Companies will be showa. To-morrow night the firm will show a picture that has caused a great sensation in Australia, viz., "The Life of Frank Gardiner, the Bushranger." The film is 4000 feet in length, and is th? greatest thing of its kind ever attempted.
