SUSPECTED AS SPIES

SYDNEY, May 15

A member of the Japanese expedition camped in the vicinity of tho South Head fortifications.

Newspapers suggest the possibility of the Japanese being spies and that that was the object of the camp near the fort. It is stated that extra sentries have been placed at the approaches to the military reserve.
