NO POLICY.
The Government candidate for the Wairarapa has been particularly careful to quote the remarks of the Age concerning the backwardness of the Opposition in outlining its policy. He lias also been careful to suppress the statement of this paper that tiie Gover»miemt itself is without the shred of a policy. If Mr Hornsiby were, to be hones£ to himself and to those he seeks to represent, he would admit tha't on th© great questions of the day notably the land question the Ward Administration has absolutely and utterly fiailed to present a policy. More than that, its reckless disregard for economy in administration, and its persistent appeals to the lower susceptibilities of the people, has brought it into disrepute. Mr Hornsby knows it; hut he carefully conceals the fact.
