TOWN HALL LIGHTING.

THE ELECTRICITY SCHEME. At last night's meeting of the Mas-tea-ton Trust Lamdis Trustees, Mr J. W. Blackmail, Manager of the Ma-s----terton Borough Gasworks, submitted a comprehensive report concerning the lighting of the Town Hall with electricity. He estimated the cost, without an engine foom, to be £545. Mr Pragnell asked whether in the event of electricity being used the ventilation of the Hall would require to be> altered.

Mr Blackmail replied that something would have to be done. JEliec'trdc fans could be used, ■ being dorivem by the same engine as would be used for tliie lighting. Messrs Daniell and Caselberg congratulated Mr Blackmail on the splendid report he had prepared, and Mr Oasellberg said he was quite willing to support Mr Blackmail's scheme subject to the funds being forthcoming.. On the motion of Mr Robinson, seconded by Mr Daniell, it was decided to obtain a report in connection with the necessary ventilation. The whole matter was referred to the Town Hall Lighitirig Conilmittee.
