In connection, with the proposal made in the Age of yesterday, that isome of the lands in the W&irarapa might be pirofMaMy utilised for fruit-giTOving, it may he interesting to note that the Government bias signified its willingness to assist in co-operative fruit-growing experiments. The grower provides, say, an acre of land and the necessary labour, and then oatos the crop, whilst the Government provides the trees and fertilisers, and, gives the instruct tion necessary. An offer such as this should at once he availed of in the Wairarapa.
