Thousands of Kabyles attacked General Monier's camp at Belarosi, three | kilometres from Salee. i Although they met heavy rifle and'j artillery fire, the natives renewed thenattack there, but finally retreated towards Salee. j From Salee a French detachment opened fire, and after a desperate re- ' sistance the Kabyles again retreated, losing thirty killed and many wounded. : It is reported that troops from Fc;} sortied, and heat the rebels, and that a stronghold at Najoha Faraoi, three miles south-west of the town, was captured. MOVEMENT OF TROOPS. PARIS, May 10. A ( iriessage states that two thousand nniles and a thousand camels have been shipped for Casablanca from Algeria daring the past fortnight and sent inland. Major Brulara's column is still outside of Ayash, twenty miles from Rabat.
