PALMERSTON N. STOCK SALE, j (By Telegraph—Special rto the Age,) PALMERSTON N., Last Niglit. Messrs Abraham and Willlriamis, Ltd., ireport:— At our weekly sale held on Thursday, ll'th May, we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep iwere in good demand, and practically all the isheep were sold at prices slightly in advance of last week. Cattle 'sokl at late rates. We quote:— Two-tooth ewes in lamb, 12s; 4 and 6-tootli ewes in lamib, 12s; aged ewes in lamib, 3s 6d to 9s 4d; lambs. 4s '2d to 7>s sd; forward wethers, 12s 8(1; blackface 2tooths, ilOs 4d; 2-toot'h empty ewe®, 9s lOd to 10s. Oattle.— Three-year •steers, £5 lis; forward bullocks, £6 12s 6d; fat cow®, £4 ss, £4 10s, £5 .to £5 14s 6d; yearling heifers, £2 18s 6d, 255, 18s 6d; yearling steers, £2 Is 6d; bubs, £4 3s 6d to £5 4s.
