An American eouple named Train, who were investigating the inter-rela-tions between Italian societies and the American Blackhanders, were motoring through Viterbo (where the Comorra tri.il is being held) when mis creants fired some benzine which was dripping beneath the car. The occupants were rescued with difficulty, the car and a case of valuable jewels being destroyed.
