TIMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL.
TIMARU, Last Night. The Borough Council sat last night over the estimates. Some increases were made. The salary of the town olerk was increased by £25 to £4OO, and of the engineer by £SO to £4OO. Jiunior salaries were raised,- and- all workmen's wages were increased by 6d pea- day. It is estimated that the receipts will reach £33,588, and the expenditure somewhat- more.
