LONDON, May 11

Mr P. Guiney, Independent Natioiialist member for North Cork, addressing a meeting of the "All for Ireland" Party at Cork recently, said the Irish Party (Nationalists) had offered him £IOOO to resign the North Cork seat and help a Redmondite to secure it.

Mr Redmond, replying to a correspondent as to tho truth of this statement, sai'l ho was surprised that the question had been seriously put. The statement was so manifestly ridiculous that he .ieed scarcely say that it was absolutely untrue.
