The Commerce and Tourists Division of the Department of Agriculture, Commerce and Tourists has received the following cablegram Srom the High Commissioner for New, Zealand, dated London, 9th May, regarding the opening of the third series of the colonial wool sales:— "The wool sale® have commenced. There is a general and active demand for all qualities. Trade is good at Home and on the Continent. Merinos, fine crossibreds, medium crossbreds, $d per lb; coarse, Jd per lb advance."
