TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST.

WELLINGTON, Last Night.
The Meteorological Office this ovening issued the following summary and forecast:—
Strong easterly winds and showery weather have been experienced south-' wards of East Cape and Kawhia, but moderate and variable winds elsewhere. Fogs and much haze were reported to-day; but the weather has been fine in most parts of the country. The barometer has fallen everywhere, especiallv in the far north. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere. Rain is probable northward of Kawhia and Castlepoint, and increasing haze and cloudiness may precede a change very shortly in other parts of the country. Strong easterly winds aro probable northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and increasing easterly and northerly winds elsewhere.
