THE MINISTERIAL VISIT.
It is to 'be hoped that, on the occasion of ithe visit of the. Acting-Prime Minister to Masterton on Monday next, ,a little greater deference, will be (shown to tihe •representative of' the Crown than was displayed on the visit of the Minister for Public
j Works. Masterton may not have a I great deal to thank the Government I for, though the posit office, railway J station, technical 'school, secondary school and new Courthouse are > all 1 oramlbs from the Ministerial table.
Still, if it wishes to secure adequate provision for the future, it should have isome regard for the amenities of Liberal administration, and should do the rigjltt thing at the right time. The Chamber of Commerce would be consulting the best interests of the town (by.arranging a social function for Monday night.
