AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The large atidien.ce ait the Foresters' Hail las* evening found the new programme a very interesting one. A topical picture, "Warwick Chronicle," depicted recent events in a pleasing fashion. A hockey match, Middlesex v. Essex, was most .interesting, and was loudly applauded, while another series of pictures showed the old English pastime of hunting. "The Tiny Water Dw&llers" was a very instructive picture giving one some idea- of the life to be found in water. Another very instructive film was "Curious Caterpillars." Of the dramas, "Faticma" was a splendid story of an Arah's love dream, while "An Exile's Love" is one of the Ltibin Company's masterpieces, and is a drama of exceptional merit. "Grandma's New Year's Present" and "A Thanksgiving Surprise" also had much to recommend them. A splendid lot 'of scenics was presented, while the comics— especially "Cock-,a-Doodle-Doo"" were genuine laughter raisers. This excellent programme will be repeated this evening.
