AUCKLAND, Last Night. The arrest of William Rogers and Mrs Maud Rogers, charged with burglary at' Kolm's jeiwelleiry shop, Auckland, wais made by the police at Sa,n Fraiwisco on t'lie arrival ox the steamer Manuka. The. arrested p. rson.s (who had jenclkry in their possession) are nor knoivn to the police in NV»v Zealand under the names given. The fact that the San Francisco police are able to furnish. the alias of the. male suspect leads to the surmise that tlhe couple are Americans. If the accused are to be brought back, Kohn'<s trustees will 'have to pay the costs of the return journey, and there is also the question of extradition. It lias not yeit been decided what steps the authorities will take.
