THEIR FLOUR VALUE. To provide a thoroughly practical test of certain varieties*of wheats grown in this Island 1 on the co-opera-tive experiment principle, .some of the grain was sent to Australia in order to obtain a report a>s to the J respective milling qualities. With the exception of Marshall's White, the wheats had been introduced into this country by the Department of Agriculture. Tine investigation in question wia© undertaken Iby Msr- J. C. Brunniek, of the Department of Agriculture land- Stock, Brisbane. Mr Brurmiek remaps that Power's Life and Federation appear to have the best-ooloured flours, White Marvel giving the most chalky flour of the" samples under investigation.
