WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates wired on Saturday :
very high pressure has ruled in all parts of the D«minion,. Fine weather by day and cold and frosty? weather at night-ha,ve prevailed. ''The winds' have been variable, Ibut strong' easterly winds are reported in * the. far north to-day, with gloomy weather. .. Present indications are for a falling baronaetter everywhere, and especially in the northern, <E'striots. Bain' and cloudy weather is probable nortbiwiar dof East Cape and Kawhda, amd increasing haze and cloudiness, with somewhat warmer weather elsewhere. Strong easterly winds' are probable northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and increasing nontiherlies and westerlies predominating elsewhere.
