WASHINGTON, May 5
Speaking in tho House of Representatives, Mr Benjamin K. Focht predicted tho early invasion of Mexico by tho United States. America, he said, wanted Empire, and would follow the luro of gold and the call of adventure.
General Madero, the insurgent leader, has appealed, through the peace envoys, to President Diaz to publish assurances, given by him privately, that he will resign.
