BLENHEIM RACES.
SECOND DAY. [ (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Friday. There was splendid weather for the concluding day of the 'Marlborough. Racing Club's autumn meeting, and a large attendance. The totalisator turnover for the day was £9229, .compared with £5240 on.the second day of last year, making £15,811 for the meeting, compared with £9826 last year. Following were the concluding results : President's Handicap:— Gunboat 1, Kilosteri 2, Hilarian 3. Scratched— Aberration. Irish Rifle led for a time, then Beacon. Gunboat came fast in the -straight, and won by half a length. Time, lmi-n. 59sec. Oniaku Welter. Septimus 1, Daunton 2, Astonishment 3. AH started. A good race. Won by a !?ngth. Time, Imin. 16 3-5 sec. . Seymour Welter.—' Curator 1, Bracken 2, First Consul 3. Scratched— Merrie Zealand and Kilosteri. Won in the last few strides. Time, lmin. 29sec. Final Hack.— Beacon and Negative (dead heat) 1; Astonishment 3. Scratched— Laius. This was the best race of the day, Negative just managing to make a dead heat of it. Time, 2mitt 0 3-ssec.
