ELECTION OF MEMBER OF WELLINGTON GROWN LANDS BOARD. IT is hereby notified in accordance with the'provisions of section 41 of "The Land Act, 1908," and the Regulations made thereunder by the Governor4n-Ck>miSJLj.tliat ,a-t vacancy in the membership of the Wellington Crown Lands Board will occur on or .before May 31st, 1911, on which; date 'the appointment of Henry Thomas EHingham to the said Board expires in ordinary course or a possible vacation of his office before that date in terms of section 44 of "The Land Act, 1908," and .that nominations to fill such vacancy will be received, at, the office of the Commissioner of Grown Lands, Wellington, up to 5 o'clock in the afternoon of JUNE Ist, 1911. No person shall be eligle as a candidate for election unless he is nominated in writing by at least two persons who, on the Ist day of January, 1911, were the owners of any lease or license of or in respect of any Crown Lands situated in the Wellington Land District,' and unless the nomination papers bearing the candidate's consent is received at the office; above named before the time fixed for the closing of nominations.
