HOUNDSDITCH MURDERS.
CHARGES REDUCED TO "CONSPIRACY." United Press Ass6ciation —uy Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received May 3, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 2. After some evidence had been given in the Hbundsditch murder trial, Judge Grantham advised the Crown to withdraw its charge,, of being accessories after the fact, against Peters, Dubof, and Vassilleva. Judge Grantham remarked that the Crown must show that an accessory knew that a murder had been committed. It was doubtful whether it could be proved that the prisoners were escaping from justice. Mr Bodkin; for the Crown, acquiesed. The trial of the four prisoners on a charge of conspiracy to enter the shop is being preceded with.
