CANADA AND NEW ZEALAND.
The Vancouver "News Advertiser," in the. course of a leading, article, says:—- "A reciprocity, df it comes to pass, will greatly change the conditions to the disadvantage of trade with both Australia and New Zealand. The treaty affects the market of Canada, and especially of Western Canada, in mutton and lamb, pork products, and tropical fruits, which are among the chief imports by the Australian boats. While 1 Australia would like to have the exclusive Pacific steamship service with Canada, and New Zealand lis ready to take it either alono or in partnership, Canada is glsul to do business with both. Jt would suit this country best if Australia would come in to the profereneo arrangement as New Zealand has, and wouldi also join in the steamship contracts."
