TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. I (By Telegraph—Press Association.) 1 WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast: — Considerable rain fell last night northward of Kawhia andi Napier, but except about East Cape, where a' galo is still blowing, the wind has gone, down and the weather improved. Today easterly and south-easterly winds have prevailed in the North Island, and easterly and northerly winds in the South. Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds northward i of Hokitika and Kaikoura, and vari- | able winds elsewhere. Cool and changeable weather is probable gen-1 erally. The barometer is rising slowly everywhere soon, but only temporarily in the southern districts.
