SECOND DAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Wellington Racing Club's an turnn meeting was concluded in fin< weather, and with a record attend' ance. The -course was in fair order The fields were good, and some excel lent racing was witnessed. The totalisator investments for the day were £16,776, making a total oi £29,821 for the meeting, compared with £28,572 10s for the last autumn meeting, 'being £1248 in favour of this meeting. Results:— Second Hurdle Handicap, of 100 so vs., one mile and a half.— R/McDougall's Sunray, syrs 10.13 (Flynn) 1,• A. Bore's Whitestone 9.4, 2; J. A. Prosser's Torbelle, 10.5, 3.' Also started— Bally Shannon 9.11. Bally Shannon fejl, leaving Whitestone to lead the field to the straight, where Sunray assumed the lead. Won by a length. Time, 2min. 57 l-ss°c. Hutt Handicap, of 125 sovs., one mile.— Jellis' My Lawyer 9.9 (J. Beale) 1; Hilarian 8.0, 2; Bourrasque 8.11, 3. Also started— Blacken 9.7, Sea Queen 9.3, St. Felix 8.7. Sea Queen led for three-quarters, of a mile, and gave way to My Lawyer, who won by two lengths. Time, 1 man. 46 3-ssec. Muritai Handicap, of 100 sovs., seven furlongs.— W. H. Gray's Silver Bullet 3yrs, 7.3 (H. Gray) 1 j Tuma 7.11, 2; Montiform 8.8, 3. ' Also strated— Floater 8.9, Brown Trout 8.6, Longwood 8.6, Deploy 8.6, Odessa ,7-2, Moutoa Girl 7.8, Laius 7.7, Golden Age 6.10, Foreshot and* St. Brandon 6.7. Silver Bullet went to the front coming up the 'straight, and won by half a length. Time, 1 I min 33 3-ssec. > Autumn Handicap, of 325 sovs., one mile and a quarter.— Hon. J. D. Ormond's Woodhey 7.0 (L. Wilson) 1; Iranui 8.7, 2; Mulga Bill 7.8, 3. Also started— Merrivonia 8.7, Vic&-Admiral 7.12, Cheddar 7.10, Dearest 7.3, Kauroa 6.12,F1ing0t6.12, Vice-Admiral led the field for two furlongs, followed by Mulga Bill and. j Kauroa, Woodhey bringing up the rear. Coming into the straight Woodhey came on the outside, and won by half a length, a length between second and third. Time, 2min. 13 2-ssec. New Zealand St. Leger Stakes, of 440 soys., one mile and three-quar-ters.— S. D. Greenwood's Danube, 8.10 (Gray), 1; F. Hall's Mira, 8.0, 2; Wire Pewene's St. Bees, 8.10, 3. Danube led throughout, was never troubled, and won easily by three lengths. Time, 3min. 57sec. Pacific Handicap, of 200 sovs., 5 furlongs.—E. J. Watts' Royal Scotch 8.10 (A. Oliver) 1; Terebinth 7.9, 2; Alohfc 6.7, 3. Also ran— Formlesß 10.1, Orton 9.3, Avarice 8.3, Altera 7.0, Abercola 6.7. Terebinth jumped off with a two lengths' lead, and entering the straight was headed by Royal Scotch, who won by 2£ lengths. Time, Imin. 5 2-ssec. Suburban Handicap, of 200 sovs., six furlongs. — Hon. J. D. Ormond's Formby 7.10 (L. Wilson) 1; Wimmera 7.9, 2; Tumut 8.8, 3.
