MEETING OF REFORM PARTY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) . ■•. PAHIATOA, : Last Night. A meetirtg of supporters of the Reform Party was held in Pahiatua on Saturday afternoon, to' discuss' the campaign, for the Pahiatua »seat. It was resolved to ask Mr R. B! Martin, Opposition organiser, to visit the electorate and sp*nd a week in organising. It was reported that, on account of pressure of business, Mr J. C. Cooper, who contested th© seat at the last election in the interests of the Reform Party, would be unable to stand- but in view of ihe fact that no official invitation had yet been extended to Mr Cooper to contest the seat, it was resolved that a sub-committee should wait on him and ask him to reconsider his decision.
