MEXICAN RISING
THE PEACE CONFERENCE. A STATEMENT QUESTIONED. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) MEXICO CITY, April 29. The Peace Conference will meet at Elpaso. A revolutionary movement is proceeding outside the armistice zone. Several minor captures by the rebels are reported. The United States Government is approaching the Mexican Government, and asking whether Vice-Presi-dent Coral expressed the statement attributed to him, viz., that America had fomented the trouble in Mexico in-order to force intervention. It is believed that Mexico will repudiate any knowledge of such a statement.
