Steady tie well-known journalist, whosie name has been famous since he discovered the >"Modern Babylon," has written to the London Times, protesting against the manner ill which the Mormons*are being persecuted in England! If the Mormons » in England are as inoffensive as their comrades in New Zealand, they certainly deserve better treatment. The disciples of Joe Smith and Brigham Young are by no means a bad lot. They have, in fact, done a great deal of good, particularly among the Natives.
