WOOL, SKIN, AND HIDE SALE.

PALMERSTON N., Last Night

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:— At our Palmerston North wool, skin and hide sale, held on Friday, the 28th inst., we had a large catalogue of skins and a medium one of wool and hides. Wool and skins showed a slight rise in last mouth's prices, .but very few hide buyers were competing, and consequently prices were not up to the usual rates. We quote:— Wool: Crossbred, 6£d, 7d, 7Jd, 7£d to ■crossbred lambs, 7d to 7fd; crossbred bellies and pieces, 6Jd; black, 6d to Q>\; merino, 7sd; lambs, 6d to 6|d; crutchings, 4§d; locks and pieces, I 4Jd; pieces, 4d to 5Jd; dead, 6d to ' 6Jd.
