MASTERTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
MEETING OF MANAGERS
The monthly meeting of Managers j of the Masterton Technical School was held last evening, there .being present:—Messrs W. H. Jackson (Chairman), E. Feist, p. E. Daniell, J. M. Coradine, and E. H. Waddington. The Treasurer reported a balance at data of £ll6 12s Id. Correspondence was received from Wilmofc C. Quii nell, re veterinary classes.—lt was.decided that a notification be inserted in the papers inviting those desirous of taking a course in veterinary instruction to hand their names into the secretary. The managers have decided to establish this class if a sufficient number'of pupils is forthcoming. A letter was received from the secretary of the Wellington Technical Education Board in connection with, the Industrial Exhibition to be held shortly in the Harbour Board sheds.— It was decided that Mr Fentori be asked to collect and forward work suitable for the exhibition. It was decided to erect a lamp at the corner of the old building in order to light the way to the workroom. The matter of improving the lights ing and equipment of the art room was brought forward by the chairman, and it was resolved that the matter be left in the hands of the chairman, with power to act. An application made by the dressmaking instructress (Mrs Howell) for certain small requirements, was loft in the hands of the Secretary, with pojwertoact.
