■ ' Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that the entry of sheep on, Thursday, 27th inst., at Palm&r- ---' stop North consisted principally of lambs and low-conditioned ewes in' lamb. A better tone existed, and all lines' sold readily under, the ham- \ nier: ' A good entry of cattle was offered, -and all lines changed hands, ;. grown bullocks 'being in good demand. Quotations: — Good store lambs, 5s 4d to 5s 8d; inferior lambs, 2s lid to 4s Id; forward lambs, 7s 6d ; fat and forward lambs, 9s Id ; mixed aged ewes in lamb (low condition) 3s 3d to 6s 2d; small lowconditioned 4 and 6-tooth ewes in lamb, 6s; 2-tooth wethers, lis 7d; small halfbred 2-tooth wethers, Bs.
