WEARING CHINESE HAIR.
Recent cables draw attention to the large amount of "Chinese, hair being used in Gj-eat ■ Britain arid America for switches, toupe-es,' etc:, and the danger arising-from contagion from same. -A much greater danger is in our midst, and that is the unwholesome hair pads 'being worn by many ladies in Masterton; some of them are positively dangerous to health, being stuffed with the'. waste and sweepings from woollen ; factories, horse hair, etc., and in many instances are branded as being of finest material only. Toi avoid this risk ladies -should insist on having the "Belgravia" registered pad, guaranteed pure hair only.. Every pad bears the maker's name, A. M. Hendry, Hair Specialist, Dunedin, without which none are genuine. Obtainable from all leading drapers and hairdressers., ?rice from Is i each.* |
