CONTINUATION CLASSES. (Lsy Telegraph—Press Association.) GTSBOHNE, Tuesday. At the householders' meetings the principle of continuation classes, referred to the committees by the Education Board was generally approved of, with the exception that girls should be exempted.

INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. | By Telegraph—Press Association. I PALMERSTON N., Tuesday. As a protest against treatment by the Wanganui Education Board, no Committee was elected at Aslihurst, and the following resolution was passed:— "'mat this meeting of householders protest to the Wanganui Education Board that an inadequate amount is granted to the Committee for carrying out ordinary necessary work, and that unpaid accounts for the last year be forwarded to the Education Board, with a request that they pay same; further, that in the absence of Mr Bennett, Guthrie, M.P., be requested to uce his best endeavours to secure for the school sufficient funds to carry on with." Under the circumstances no ore would accept office on the Co ai mi tree.
